Fantastic Family Getaway Near Duke University!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. Bret, at the front desk, made us feel welcome and shared great local tips. Check out nearby shopping areas for dining options, as breakfast left much to be desired.

The night manager's vehicle blocked the breezeway during busy morning hours, making it difficult for families like mine to manage our bags. Additionally, the cleanliness of the couch was disappointing. while the sleeping areas were acceptable, the couch's condition detracted from our overall comfort. Check-in was delayed significantly due to a power outage in the area, resulting in late access to our room and lack of Wi-Fi until much later in the evening. This left us stranded with no alternative accommodations available since local hotels were fully booked.

The kitchenette was super convenient, and the clean, spacious room was a bonus. Loved the comfy beds and the nearby shopping!

Family with children’s simple stay

The staff was friendly and helpful! I especially loved the complimentary breakfast every morning, we enjoyed those bagel breakfast sandwiches so much, my family kept talking about them! The room was spacious, had good amenities, and the location was perfect for our event at UNC.

Just a nice choice for a holiday in Durham with good value. The room was bigger than I expected and had everything we needed for our family of four. Make sure to clean any dishes upon arrival because they weren't spotless when we got there.
